I picked him up about 3 1/2 weeks ago, I drove it twice, put it in the garage and had rotator cuff surgery, so now I’m bored and ordering odds and ends ..

Seats.

Now I’m waiting for the base to test fit from wedge, then I’ll order another and send them for leather..

Pigtail harness plug for the Spal fan..

Today I ordered wheel studs. I have new calipers and brakes all around waiting to go in and I’m looking at wheels now. I like the apex arc8 concave in a 17x9

I’ll get them powdered gold...and I still have to make a front splitter..I’ll be busy all summer.

Oh man, I remember your ordeal, Ron checca built my 2.5 and it couldn’t have been smoother, he’s an awesome guy and has forgotten more than I’ll ever know about these cars. I just have a ton of little shit to do on it, it was sitting for 4 or 5 years after I spun the bearing...but yeah, if you ever make it up to NJ for a sigfest let me know!!

Looks great. Love the X5 and the M3.

The 17x9's might be overkill, I had a set on my 335i a few weeks ago (they were a friends, just testing the fitment out) and with the PSS I could not break traction. Grip was incredible. But I’m sure (like me) you love the concavity of the 17x9's, and apex wheels are VERY fairly priced.

Just a heads up, apex is getting ready to introduce a few new colors for there wheels, so it might be worth it to email them in case they'll be able to get you a set in your desired color.

The car looks amazing! I hope to get rid of my mechanical fan and go to an electric one soon before a blade breaks and wrecks the refresh I just did. Those seats look comfortable/supportive, really want some Sportster CS’s but I am afraid the flat headrest won’t provide much comfort over longer trips.

Either color would look amazing on your E46.. Last I heard bronze was pretty high in the running. They ran a poll on E90post and were pretty open to requests. Very interested in seeing what colors they come out with, especially for the EC-7's!

I was looking at the 9"wide because I just picked up rotor spacers so I can run e36 m3 front brakes, also want concave which you can’t get with the offset I need in 8 or 8.5

One of the guys from apex updated their thread in the m3forum.net E46 section saying that 50% of the vote were E46 owners! I hope for Bronze just because it would be a good special edition color and I don’t understand why Apex offers Hyper Black on the ARC-8 but not the EC-7.

Sidenote: Hope they offer the AERO-7 in E46 sizes/offsets because I love how similar they look to the Ferrari 360 CS wheels.

It would make a lot of sense if they just offered the same color options across their entire line up. The Aero-7 is a great looking wheel, never noticed how similar it is to the 360CS wheel. I’ve only seen them mounted on E82's but I'm surprised they don't have them in E46 sizes.
